ESQ Summer Camps
ESQ Summer Camps include a variety of hands-on activities that explore science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and feature STEM mentors and tours of exciting spaces on UW’s campus! Campers will experiment with new technology, develop valuable skills, and connect with friends. Our university-level staff studying in various engineering, science and education programs develop innovative and creative activities for their camps that explore all areas of STEM and so much more! Engineering Outreach at the University of Waterloo employs ESQ Instructors for the duration of the Summer.
These camps are offered in four grade ranges: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, and 8-9.

Explore AI camps are held in person in partnership with and at the Downtown Edmonton Public Library. Unlock Your Child’s Potential with an introduction to A.I. 5-Day Summer Camp! Build creativity, confidence, and essential skills for the future through hands-on AI learning.
University of Toronto – Scarborough Robotics and AI Camp
At the UTSC 5-Day Robotics and AI Camp, campers dive into robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) using computers to explore how machines learn and respond to commands. They will work with coding platforms to program virtual robots, train simple AI models, and experiment with automation. Through hands-on activities, campers will learn about machine learning, AI decision-making, and how robots process information. They will engage in tasks such as teaching AI to recognize patterns, coding chatbots, and controlling virtual robots through coding challenges. The week focuses on problem-solving, logical thinking, and digital innovation, helping campers understand the growing role of AI and robotics in technology.
Future Artificial Intelligence (AI) Leaders Camp
Offered by the Erindale Academy, the Future Artificial Intelligence Leaders Camp-General is an immersive pre-university experience specifically crafted for students aged 12 to 18. This camp provides a dynamic environment where young enthusiasts can explore the cutting-edge world of artificial intelligence, develop their technical skills, and connect with peers who share their passion for AI and its potential to shape the future. AI Leaders Camp will develop students’ AI awareness and skills, as well as the confidence, resilience, and leadership skills they need for future success. It encourages students to inspire, lead and mentor their peers through creating, participating, and delivering activities and events.
